Reviews for Manor Cottage bed and breakfast

Some of our guests have been kind enough to write a review of their stay on Google  - a small selection :

Staying in Manor Cottage has got to be the best B&B experience I have ever encountered. The rooms we stayed in were spacious, very clean, light and airy, bathrooms too. Merry & Nigel were so warm, kind and helpful and went completely out of their way to make us at home, they really looked after us and did a whole list of incredibly thoughtful gestures that went way beyond the call of duty. I couldn't believe it really. We were working in Banbury for 4 days and stayed at Manor Cottage throughout. Coming back to the cottage after such long hard days at work was just utter bliss. The Fox served wonderful meals up the road too and Merry made fantastic breakfasts. They really made us feel at home like no other B&B experience I have ever had. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

My husband & I stayed at Manor Cottage for 3 nights as a base to go to the Moto gp at Silverstone. We found Manor Cottage to be perfect as it is only 15 minutes drive to the Silverstone circuit. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived by the whole family (including the cat & the dog). Nothing was to much trouble for Nigel & Merry. Nigel phoned & booked tables for us at local pubs for our evening meals, The New Inn is only 300yards down the road & is a very friendly village pub. Merry cooked delicious breakfasts using local produce. The cottage & garden is wonderful. Our room was spacious & the bed very comfortable. Very highly recommended.

We stayed for a couple of nights whilst house hunting in the area. You won't find more friendly and helpful hosts than Nigel and Merry. Nigel, thanks again for the lift to the pub and the excellent scrambled eggs! If we ever need to stay in a B&B locally again, we know who to call...

We came from the States bringing with us another couple who had never visited the UK before. Our plane landed 12 hours late and Merry and Nigel met us in their magnificent back garden with breakfast waiting. The garden is wonderfully beautiful (and I am a Master Gardener). Merry and Nigel could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The first jet lagged night Merry toted us to a local pub and after we had dinner, she came back and picked us up. Nigel was always there with directions, maps, his GPS and even once, led us to a main intersection where we could pick up our route. Manor Cottage is so picturesque and has a lovely history as an 18th century farm. It is quite convenient for touring the Cotswolds. We had a WONDERFUL time with the Wadlows and came away feeling like we had spent time with long lost family. We even invited them to come spend time at our home on the shores of Lake Erie (and we are not a B&B) Stay here and it will be the best part of your stay!

We booked Manor Cottage and were not disappointed. A lovely comfy home from home and Nigel & Merry were lovely. Comfy rooms and a fantastic breakfast. I hope we have the need to stay again.
